Newton County Constable Howie Wonders has issued a statement regarding recent flooding. "SPREAD THE WORD
The water may be rising again in the next few days because of the flood gates being open. Please do not joy ride ATVs on the streets that are flooded, closed, or in disrepair unless you are using them to get in and out of the area you live in. Please advise your children the same. The folks that live in these areas do not appreciate it and it can lead to injuries and/or damaged property. We have been receiving complaints and will react accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation".
