Dry air today ahead of an upper Low will keep most areas dry. Highs mid 90s. 10% Sunday, scattered next week.
Projected rain totals for next week, mainly southern sections 1-2 inches, (Top Graphic) as an upper Low works into the Mid Texas coast (Bottom graphic). Plenty of tropical moisture will be in place MID WEEK next week through next weekend for scattered showers and storms each day. NOT EVERYONE WILL SEE RAIN EACH DAY!
This is why we have a zero chance of rain today, very dry air in the mid and upper levels ahead of an upper Low just SE of Louisiana.
Saturday looks hot and dry. Ugh. Changes next week though as moisture levels increase and scattered showers return. Upper Low followed by a deeper surge of moisture. Not everyone will see rain each day next week though.
I promise it will rain again. The Heat Dome moves out (top graphic) on Sunday as an upper Low moves west across the Gulf. Scattered showers will return next week as deeper moisture arrives. Bottom graphic shows the High to our east and what’s left of the upper Low to our west keeping a moist flow in place.
