WEATHER IMPACT 7 DAY FORECAST | A weak front has stumbled into SE Texas Sunday Evening and may generate a 10-20% coverage of evening showers and thunderstorms. Otherwise, slightly cooler low temperatures are expected in the Lakes Area.
Monday, only isolated (10% coverage) of showers and thunderstorms is forecast (due to that weak front washing out) with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s under partly cloudy skies.
Tuesday through the end of the work week, little change is forecast as a ridge of high pressure aloft builds over Texas and the Southern Plains. Hot, humid and mainly dry weather conditions are forecast under partly cloudy skies. Lows will be in the lower 70s with highs each afternoon in the lower 90s.
Next weekend too looks hot, humid and mainly with lows in the lower 70s and highs in the lower 90s under partly cloudy skies.

Gordon has weakened to a depression in the far eastern Atlantic. Ensemble modeling turns it north. Looks quiet in the Western Gulf of Mexico the next 7 plus days.
