Today, President Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States of America. With his family by his side, Trump was sworn in using his own family Bible, which was given to him by his mother, and the Lincoln Bible for his ceremony.

Vice-President JD Vance was sworn-in using his Kentucky family Bible with his family gathered around. The Bible he used was presented to him by his Mamaw in 2003, the day he left home for the Marine Corps.
During his speech, President Trump said, "The golden age of America begins right now. From this day forward our country will begin to flourish. We will again be the envy of every nation and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer."
Trump added that he intends to hit the ground running, beginning with numerous executive orders to "Make America Great Again" .
Elon Musk who has been slated to lead the Office of Government Efficiency said during a speech Monday, "Thank you! It is through you (the people) that the future of humanity is secure. This was no ordinary election, this was a fork in the road of human civilization."
On his last day in office, former President Joe Biden has pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci, Retired General Mark Miller and members of the House Committee that investigated the January 6th event. Biden said, "The issuance of these pardons should not be mistaken as an acknowledgement that any individual engaged in any wrong doing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt."
Biden also today issued pardons for his brother James and his wife, Sara; his sister Valerie and her husband John Owens; and his brother Francis. Last month he pardoned his son Hunter Biden.
