With Alberto making landfall in Mexico well to our south overnight resulting in decreasing rain chances and winds through Friday.

Slim chances and hot afternoon temperatures are forecast this weekend across SE Texas with highs in the lower to middle 90's as upper-level high pressure rebuilds over Texas.

Much of next week, scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast however, higher chances may materialize Thursday and Friday the 27th and 28th as high pressure moves to the Southwestern U.S. resulting in a northerly flow aloft. This may drag upper-level disturbances our way.
