Newton County Emergency Management has updated tropical warnings for our area. "At the 10:15 call with NOAA it was noted that most of the potential rain and wind chances have decreased as the storm has shifted further to the east."
The tropical storm warning for the Deweyville/ southern parts of Newton County has been lifted.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update as necessary.
