Three vehicle accident in Jasper sends one to JMH with non-life-threatening injuries


At 1 pm Tuesday, Jasper Police Department received a call regarding a three-vehicle accident on Hwy 190 in front of Jasper Quality Meats.


Jasper Police Chief Garrett Foster said, "71-year-old Evelyn Vincent of Beaumont was exiting a private drive on the North side of Hwy 190. 22-year-old Seth Musslewhite of Kirbyville was traveling East on 190 and 34-year-old Jessica Bowling of Newton and her passenger , 38-year-old Dennis Cooper were sitting in a private driveway on the South side of US 190."


According to the report, Vincent failed to yield the right-of-way and Musslewhite's vehicle struck Vincent's which then struck Bowling's vehicle. At that point, Musslewhite took "Faulty" evasive actions and hit the rear of Bowling.

Vincent was driving a 2017 Ford F150 which was towed by Jasper Towing.

Musslewhite was driving a 2007 Ford F150 was also towed by Jasper Towing.


Bowling was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Rio Suburban which was not towed. Bowling was transported to Jasper Memorial via Allegiance Ambulance Service.


The report shows that eye-witness testimony on the scene as well as camera footage on Sabine State Bank confirmed the reported course of events.
