Much warmer weather as we head into the weekend. Showers and storms likely Sunday afternoon as an Arctic cold front moves through. Some of the storms could be strong. We are not expecting a repeat of last time. Arctic air will spill in Sunday night, we will be at or below freezing Monday morning with wind chills in the teens and 20's. At least it will be dry! A hard freeze is possible Tuesday and Wednesday morning so remember the 4 P's. Exposed pipes, pets, plants and people. Clouds will increase Wednesday night into Thursday with rain chances by Thursday night and Friday. Temperatures look to be above freezing once the rain starts Friday morning, a few sleet pellets would be possible Friday early as we wet bulb and temps drop a few degrees. As of this writing looks like just a cold rain next Friday.
An Arctic cold front will arrive late Sunday. Below are forecasted temperatures (Top Graphic) and wind chills (bottom graphic) for Monday morning. Dry and cold. Bundle up!
Showers and thunderstorms are expected just ahead of an Arctic cold front mid to late afternoon Sunday. Some of these could be strong to severe. We are not expecting an event like last time though. The threat for Tornadoes is very low but not zero.
COLD ARCTIC AIR WILL ARRIVE SUNDAY NIGHT
