NEWTON COUNTY – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers investigated a one-vehicle fatality crash on Farm-to-Market Road 363, east of Bleakwood, that occurred Friday, August 23, 2024.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 3:45 p.m., a Ford F-250 pick-up was traveling east. It is reported that the pick-up left the road and overturned multiple times.
The driver of the Ford, identified as 65-year-old Sherrill Reese of Newton, was pronounced deceased on the scene by Justice of the Peace Connie Smith. One passenger, identified as 37-year-old Vyazma Todd of Newton, was also pronounced deceased on-scene by Justice of the Peace Connie Smith.
