Michael Boyd Powers, 49 of Newton passed away Friday, February 21, 2025 in Newton.

Born January 13, 1976 to Billy Powers and Karen (Appele) in Kirbyville, he had lived in Newton the last 2 years.

He is survived by children, Peighton Powers, Davin Powers; brothers, Fred Powers and Mandi, James Graham, Jr.; half sisters, Shannon Mackleburg and Kevin, Patricia Graham; grandchildren, Paisley, Sayler, Dredyn, Illiana, Jakoby.

He was preceded in death by, mother, Karen Graham; father, Billy Powers; stepfather, James Graham; brothers, Keith Powers and Chris Graham.

Cremation is under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.
