Calls To Service (July 29, 2024, to August 4, 2024): The Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) answered 78 calls to service.
BON WIER NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH MEETING: August 8th, 2024, at 1800 hours, location at the Bon Wier Baptist Church.
Jail Population: We currently have 16 inmates in the following jails;
7 housed in Newton, 4 housed in Beauregard, and 5 housed in Jasper.
Jail Transports: NCSO had 7 jail transports:
4 from Beauregard to NCSO, 2 from NCSO to JCSO, 1 from NCSO to Beauregard.
The following individuals were booked into the County Jail:
