Calls To Service (November 18, 2024, to November 24, 2024): The Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) answered 52 calls to service.
Jail Population: We currently have 12 inmates in the following jails;
7 housed in Newton, 3 housed in Beauregard, and 2 housed in Jasper.
Jail Transports: NCSO had 5 jail transports:
1 from Sabine Co to NCSO for Court, 3 from JCSO to NCSO for court, 1 from NCSO to Beauregard.
