The long awaited grand opening of Cornerstone Mercantile and Limitless Weapons was a huge success with many community leaders and citizens attending Friday morning's ribbon cutting.
Starting back in July 2023, owners Jarred and Wendy Williams have worked to renovate what used to be Newton's Hardware Store into a Fredericksburg/Magnolia meets gun & outdoor enthusiasts escape.
Cornerstone Mercantile is a filled with nice gift ideas and items for every home. Wendy Williams said, "We want to bring business to Newton and be a draw for everyone..." Williams went on to say that the team "will be providing custom furniture as well."
Limitless Weapons has a wall full of guns, fishing and hunting gear as well as knives and apparel. Jared Williams stated that they will be bringing Gun Smithing to Newton in the future.
From the walls and floor to the items for sale, the Williams' craftsmanship displayed throughout the store sets the bar for the region and speaks to a new day for Newton, Texas.
