Barn Fire results in losses but contained by Volunteer Fire Department’s team work

Newton and Bon Weir Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a barn fire on FM 2626 shortly before 6:00pm Sunday evening.

Barn belonging to Robert and Robbye Davis. Davis stated he has just put new hay under the barn. Everything under the open side of the barn was a loss.

Cause is unknowns

Newton responded with 7 firefighters and 3 trucks.

Bon Weir responded with 7 firefighters and 3 trucks
