MONDAY MORNING | Near-record low temperatures are possible across SE Texas!
THURSDAY'S LOCAL IMPACT | Numerous showers are expected Thursday which will likely impact outdoor plans. Highest amounts will likely occur along the Interstate Ten Corridor (Orange, Jefferson and Chambers Counties).
RAINFALL AMOUNTS | Lower rainfall amounts are expected in the Lakes Area with 1-2 inches through Thursday Night over the Triangle to the coast.
MIDDLE LEVEL TROUGH | A trough in the middle levels and copious moisture levels warrant a 60% coverage of rain. The easterly winds will likely limit chances for heavy rainfall across SE Texas.
FRIDAY'S COLD FRONT | A MUCH drier air mass is expected across SE Texas Sunday through the first-half of next week. Cool mornings and sunny, delightful afternoons are expected.
WEATHER IMPACT 7 DAY FORECAST | Scattered to numerous showers are expected this evening and Thursday ahead of a cold front Friday.
One-half of an inch is forecast for the Lakes Area through Thursday Night with 1-2 inches in the Triangle.
Friday Morning, the rains will end ahead of a cold front.
The front will result in a gorgeous weekend with significantly lower humidity.
Monday Morning, near-record lows are possible – upper 50s to lower 60s followed by a sunny, pleasantly warm afternoon with low humidity.
The great Fall-like weather will persist through the middle of next week.
