Dry weather is forecast Tuesday through Thursday with lows in the 60s to near 70 and highs each afternoon near 90.
Scattered showers are forecast Thursday Night and Friday as a disturbance and increase in atmosphere moisture moves into the area.
Dry weather returns to SE Texas Sunday and Monday.
The latest Drought Monitor has SE Texas under a Level 1 Drought. Thursday Night and Friday we may receive some help on this due to scattered showers.
Atmospheric moisture and a series of upper-level disturbances will result in scattered showers Thursday Night through Friday in SE Texas.
Disturbance in the Western Caribbean has a moderate chance of development as it heads towards the Gulf of Mexico late this week. Not expected to be an issue for SE Texas due to westerly steering.
