7 Day Forecast and Tropical Outlook

12News Meteorologist Patrick Vaughn

WEATHER IMPACT 7 DAY FORECAST | Little change is forecast across SE Texas during the next seven days with near or slightly above normal temperatures and much below normal rainfall.

A ridge of high pressure aloft will build over Texas and our region through the weekend resulting in hot, humid and mainly dry conditions under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.

Lows will remain in the lower 70s with highs in the lower 90s.

Nothing is expected in the Gulf of Mexico through the next seven days. However, the middle of next week, the Euro AI, EPS and GEFS are all pointing towards tropical development in the NW Caribbean. Certainly something to monitor.

UPPER-LEVEL PATTERN | Building upper-level high pressure across Texas will result in little change across SE Texas during the next 7 days. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are expected with lows in the lower 70s and highs in the lower 90s.
