Many models point towards beneficial rain falling Wednesday through Friday across SE Texas though it doesn't look like a drought buster.
28 days and counting without measurable rainfall. It's been 2 months (at Beaumont) since the last good soaker as the rainfall deficit climbs to over 14 inches since August 1st. Moderate wildfire threat Monday due to dry vegetation and breezy southeast winds.
