7 Day Forecast

12News Meteorologist Patrick Vaughn

The weekend across SE Texas looks hot, dry, humid and mainly dry.

A quiet forecast is expected next week with dry weather conditions.

Late Monday, a cold front will arrive with little fanfare. After the frontal passage, lows will be in the middle 50s to lower 60s Tuesday through Friday Morning. And afternoons will be pleasantly warm with highs in the middle 80s, sunny skies and much lower humidity.

Cold front arrives late Monday followed by cooler temperatures the rest of next week.

The drought continues to worsen across SE Texas as the rainfall deficit is now at 6.21 inches below normal since September 1st. Unfortunately, dry weather is expected next week with low humidity enhancing the wildfire potential.

The forecast this evening looks generally good for Friday Night Football with only isolated showers with temperatures falling into the lower 80s to the lower and middle 70s.
