7 Day Forecast

12NEWS Meteorologist Patrick Vaughn

Strong upper-level high pressure, over our area and the rest of Texas, will ease back to the west at the same time a weak front moves in from the north. This weak front may produce isolated, late afternoon storms Tuesday. However, lower humidity levels are forecast in the Lakes. Regardless, hot afternoon highs in the upper 90s to near 100 are forecast.

Slightly cooler morning lows are forecast later this week with hot, dry afternoons. Hight temperatures the middle to later part of this week will drop into the middle 90s.

Over the weekend and Monday, an upper-level low will move west through the Northwest Gulf of Mexico. The flow around it will moisten the atmosphere. A 20-30% coverage is expected by Sunday and Monday.
