7 Day Forecast

12News Meteorologist Patrick Vaughn

One more night of freezing temperatures for most of Southeast Texas is forecast tonight and Friday Morning with lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s in the Triangle and the middle 20s in the Lakes Area. Sunny skies Friday will warm temperatures into the lower 50s.

Saturday skies will become gray as highs approach 60 degrees during the afternoon.

Rain looks likely Sunday Afternoon ahead of a cold front with highs inching upwards into the middle 60s.

The weak cold front will knock temperatures back into the lower 50s for lows with highs in the middle 60s Monday and Tuesday under gray skies with very low rain chances.

Scattered showers return to the forecast Wednesday due to an active jet stream with embedded disturbances as highs rise into the upper 60s.

Rain and thunderstorms look likely next Thursday the 30th ahead of an approaching upper level trough and associated cold front.
