7 Day Forecast

12News Meteorologist Kerry Cooper

Chilly night tonight with clear skies. Some frost possible in the Lakes area. Rain chances return Wednesday into early Thursday as a warm front lifts north and a disturbance aloft moves in from the southwest. Warmer Wednesday as well. As low pressure passes the area late Wednesday night winds will turn back around to the north Thursday, so a chilly Thursday and Friday is expected. May see a break in the rain Thursday mid morning through Friday. Then another disturbance will work into the area next weekend.

Forecast is still on track for rain Wednesday into early Thursday as a series of upper level disturbances work across the area. A break in the rain is possible Thursday late morning into Friday before another disturbance works in next weekend. Rain totals 1-3 inches possible.
