The next seven days will be quite active across East Texas. Widespread rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches will be common, with higher amounts certainly possible. Much of the rain will occur tonight, Friday, and Monday. On Monday, there will be a risk for severe thunderstorms, but details are still uncertain at this extended range.
